Advice worth repeating: Make Greater Americans
I think it was Proust who said no one pays any attention so everything has to be repeated every morning.
I think The Tribune should reprint, at least twice a year, the wise advice given by Robert C. Pavlik (“We are all in this together,” Letters, March 18) that we should strive to be “Greater Americans.” Indeed, we seem to have lost respect for each other, for nature, for the planet. I, like Mr. Pavlik, would like to “see a return to sanity and decorum.”
