Americans will vote if they believe their votes will count

The Tribune and other corporate media outlets continue to dwell on the latest “news” about Donald Trump while doing their best to muffle the real news in this election year: that Americans will turn out to vote if they believe that their votes will actually count. This happened March 8 in Michigan, but The Tribune is not impressed.

Readers who cherish the possibility for fair and meaningful elections can take heart in the results from the Democratic primary in Michigan. They can also take a stand against Citizens United and the attack on voting rights by attending or supporting the Democracy Awakening mobilization in Washington, D.C., next month.
