Ted Cruz’s in-laws in SLO have done good deeds
I agree with Frances Davidson’s letter of March 4 (“Ted Cruz’s in-laws are good citizens of SLO”) concerning Joetopia’s recent column (“Ted Cruz is too close for comfort, in more ways than one,” Feb. 21).
If most everyone else did even 10 percent of the good deeds and works that Peter and Suzanne Nelson and their family have done over their lifetimes, this world would be a much, much better place. Just because you may not agree with someone politically or otherwise, doesn’t mean they summarily should be written off. We might find ourselves surprised — and even reproved — if we knew how in some ways we actually measure up to them.
