Dog-tired of the anti-dog residents of SLO

In response to Mr. Richard Mortensen’s anti-dog letter (“Show courtesy and keep dogs on leashes,” March 3): My dog is not interested in your crotch, your leg or any other part of your body. My dog is interested in living in a city that does not have onerous regulations and fines.

She is interested in living in a city that allows people who have disabilities to still be able to give their dogs proper exercise by having off-leash possibilities (not all dogs play with other dogs at parks). She is interested in living in a city that is focused more on resident needs than on city coffers and a few bellyachers.

Yes, some people don’t manage their dogs well. Every dog that can be off-leash under sight or voice control should not pay the consequences.
