It’s time to bring experience to Congress; vote Loretta Sanchez

Kamala Harris will make a fine senator if she is elected, but I have chosen to endorse and support Rep. Loretta Sanchez for the simple reason that, more than ever, experience counts in 2016.

With a divided, polarized Washington, D.C., and the loss of seniority in our delegation, California needs someone who knows Congress on Day 1.

By virtue of her service in the House, Sanchez could instantly gain more seniority than other members of the class of 2016, according to Senate rules.

Sanchez’s experience with national security issues gives her an advantage on an issue important to many voters. Her record and her appeal to independent voters speaks for itself — and her record speaks much louder than trumped up gaffes blown out of proportion by a hostile press. Here’s to the first Latina senator!
