Paso Robles water district: Foxes guarding the henhouse

On the surface, the formation of a locally controlled water district sounded like a good idea to me. Then I realized that the board of directors would most likely be the same people who pump most of the water and contributed greatly to the alleged overdraft condition. The majority of this board has commercial interests (read: money) that are directly connected to water control. I am pretty sure they will give little thought to homeowner users like myself and most of the well owners in the proposed district. This is a perfect example of the fox guarding the henhouse.

I am voting “no” on Measures A and B.
