SLO Symphony performance was the best ever

The Feb. 6 SLO Symphony performance was one of the best I have attended in my 30 years of patronage.

Laura Jackson conducted with grace and power and seemed to elicit absolute attention and eager enjoyment from the orchestra members.

Caroline Goulding strode onto the stage and commanded my awe attention with her passionate, intense presentation.

Thunderous applause? Yes! Standing ovation? Of course!

“Wow,” said Ms. Goulding’s lips on stage. “Wow,” said I and two of my neighbors as we caught each other’s eye.

Thanks to all the participants who created this extraordinary musical experience.
