Memory of stolen roses will linger

I bought a dozen red roses for Valentine’s Day. I arranged them lovingly at home and then took them to my husband’s grave in Atascadero.

Somebody stole them.

I really hope they put them in their vehicle before they realized I had sprayed them with deer repellant. You can wash the awful smell off your hands — but the memory of the roses will linger in the vehicle for a long, long time.
