Out of sight, out of mind with dangerous train cargo

We continually hear about additional oil trains coming through San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties if the Phillips 66 plan is approved, but why don’t we hear about other dangerous trains passing daily?

Are there none? Trains move every day with loads of who knows what, but people and the news media simply ignore them. Do some of these trains have tank cars loaded with acids, gases, flammable or explosive substances?

Why aren’t we given facts so we can see if the extra Phillips 66 trains would make a real difference in the dangers we now face but ignore?

People are up in arms about the oil trains, but are they ignoring more dangerous cargo already passing through daily?
