Hillary Clinton is a has-been

In the Feb. 8 edition of the Tribune, there was the article “Steinem, Albright scold young women backing Sanders.” Hillary Clinton is pathetic and desperate, having these two has-beens trying to help her. Steinem said that young women are backing Sanders because they want to meet men. Albright said, “There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help each other.”

If I were a young woman today, I would be deeply offended at these remarks. Most of today’s young women are intelligent and politically savvy. They will not be told who to vote for or what to do. They want to make up their own minds and not be threatened.

I have three granddaughters. One is in her early 30s, and two in their early 20s. They all know exactly what is happening politically. They are very smart and engaged in politics. They will not be told what to do.

I will repeat: Hillary Clinton is desperate. If I thought she would be good for our country, I might feel sorry for her. That will never happen. She is a has-been.
