Keep armchair quarterback candidates on the sidelines

The armchair quarterback: A know-it-all who thinks he knows what plays will win the game.

I have been watching the debates and all the rhetoric from one group of people: Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Ben Carson and the rest of the GOP. They seem to think they are the best choice to run the country.

I disagree on that note, but on the other side, you have Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton who think they know better on how to run the country.

Most of the field — I wouldn’t vote for them to be dog catchers, let alone president of the United States.

Back to Trump and Cruz. These two would be too dangerous as president. They have the tact of a bull in a China shop, and we would end up in a war. Rubio is not very strong on foreign policy, either. Carson lives in a bubble of fantasy world delight. Clinton is more adept at foreign policy and diplomacy, and probably would be the better choice of evils. Sanders has a way of saying what everyone wants to hear and has a long road to go to impliment his wide range of ideas. I wish them all good luck, but I feel sorry for those who waste their votes on the armchair quarterbacks who really don’t know squat.
