Where is the apology from Al Moriarty?

Re: “Al Moriarty out of jail, apologizes to fraud victims,” Jan. 27:

Apology? Where is the apology from Al Moriarty? Where I come from, an apology contains the words “I’m so sorry, I was wrong, please forgive me” — none of which were included in The Tribune story in which Mr. Moriarty blames his former clients, Cal Poly and the real estate market for his demise.

Now he wants us to believe his unwritten book and unmade movie are going to repay all those he defrauded. Fat chance! He might have been “the godfather” in prison, but outside, he still remains a criminal who gives those of us in the financial services industry a bad name. Al Moriarty is a con man, and is still at it today.
