Local control of Paso Robles groundwater basin is the way to go

Thank you, Dee Lacey, for your letter of Dec. 25 (“Dirkx is right on Paso basin district”), which explained the importance of forming a locally controlled water district. If it’s going to happen one way or another, let’s keep the county and the state out of it, and have important decisions regarding water management made by those who are living here!
