Ban refugees from hostile countries

Phil Dirkx’s article (“Trump’s Muslim ban laced with racism and hysteria”) and all the supporting letters are absolutely mind-blowing to me. First of all, who do they think have committed all the bombings in our country lately, and do they really want their children or grandchildren working one day and they get that special call?

I feel sorry for them for thinking this way, but I think the banning of refugees from hostile countries, for now at least, is a very important step to be taken for the safety of all Americans, be they Muslims, Christians or whatever. Until we as a country can get a handle on some type of “intel” on their backgrounds, then I believe it is necessary.
