Demise of SLO parking lot is sad
The demise of a needed parking lot for the Garden Street Terraces project is sad. Are the residents of San Luis Obispo getting a two-story parking structure? Of course not! Building a large hotel on Broad Street is deemed essential! The views of hills by this structure by a hotel will be blocked. See for yourself.
We are told to conserve water. Yet developers build and build. No stopping is in sight. Our planners must be blind by now.
Is this the city we envision? It still lacks a real department store!
