Dim-witted logic on gun laws
Oh, look, another murder-enabler arguing against gun laws.
Robert Olson’s dim-witted logic in his letter to the editor is that sensible gun laws don’t stop gun violence because religious zealots commit mass murder (“Gun law didn’t help San Bernardino shooting victims,” Dec. 14). That’s like saying driving rules don’t prevent accidents because there was a 100-car pileup in tule fog on I-5.
Mr. Olson then proceeds to enumerate religious terrorist violence as proof of something or another, ignoring the far more common homegrown, mentally ill individual who could very well have been stopped, and in effect reduces the value of the lives of slaughtered schoolchildren and church parishioners.
Also in the letter was this: The guns “were purchased legally. ... In fact, the purchaser broke existing California law.” Just had to point that out.
The setup for all this babble is of course to criticize President Barack Obama. Talk about Pavlovian! Project much?!
The militia needs to be well-regulated before they get us ALL killed.
