The Vocal Arts Ensemble offers comfort and hope
This season, one of the most enjoyable and inspirational events for me was hearing Gary Lamprecht’s longstanding Vocal Arts Ensemble sing its holiday concert. Their “Ave Maria” was dedicated to the victims of the San Bernardino massacre and indeed filled our hearts with a profound requiem.
In a time when fear and terror are in the news and in everyday conversation, music can bring us comfort and hope. Thank you, Vocal Arts Ensemble.
