Sea otter gets more attention than aborted babies
The front-page article regarding the baby “animal” rescued (“Baby otter found by kayakers in Morro Bay is on its way to recovery,” Oct. 27) — and the quote “Everybody’s heart bleeds for a baby animal. I think this one really tugged on people’s heartstrings” — seems absurd when you consider that human babies who are aborted are not given that same space on the front page, reporting on saving human babies.
Have animals become the dominant species? Perhaps in California, this is true. Where is the outcry to save human babies? Something is radically wrong with this reporting of front-page news reporting.
