Templeton psych facility needed
We would like to commend Tonya Strickland for the recent series showing the local need for mental health services.
However, whoever wrote the headline “Town pushes back” made an inaccurate choice. There are many of us living in Templeton who support the building of the behavioral health hospital.
Mental illness, a disease that can affect anyone in our community, can be effectively treated with appropriate medical care. In our 20 years in Templeton, we have seen Twin Cities Community Hospital and the surrounding medical facilities and services expand.
The behavioral health hospital is a much-needed and appropriate addition to this complex.
