Register gun users

I believe that owning a gun is not a right, but a privilege, like driving a car.

To drive a car you have to pass a series of written and practical tests.

Your car must be registered annually and your driver’s license renewed at regular intervals.

A similar process, plus some sort of psychological evaluation, should be applied to gun owners.

After all, guns are not just potentially deadly, as could be argued about cars. They’re deadly by design.
