Dumb laws universal
For those who think our San Luis Obispo City Council has overstepped by passing the new law regulating odors, check out a few of these gems from http://www.dumblaws.com: In Alabama, it was illegal to carry an ice cream cone in your back pocket; a Delaware law prohibited wearing pants that are form-fitting around the waist; in Kansas, it is illegal to serve wine in teacups; a Maine law prohibited tickling a woman under the chin with a feather duster; in Hawaii, coins may not be placed in one’s ears; in California, you may not ride a bike in a swimming pool; Utah bans walking down the street with a violin in a paper bag; in Wisconsin, restaurants may not serve apple pie without cheese; and in Connecticut, pickles have to bounce to officially be considered pickles!
There oughta be a law — or maybe not!
