Has anyone investigated the possible health effects of Bubble Gum Alley? We know that the mouth is one of the most germ-laden parts of the body. If someone with a communicable disease plasters his/her gum on the wall, how long is the gum able to “dispense” the disease to passers-by?

If the health agencies haven’t looked into this, why not?
