Admit the mistake

I wish Caltrans would just take responsibility and admit that it made a mistake on Highway 1.

I rode on this 1,000-foot test section after it was rolled, and there is no difference!

The statement that Caltrans is making about correcting the problem is just that, a statement. The only real solution to this mistake is to apply a smoother (smaller) chip seal on this area. Caltrans could roll and sweep this area for a year and it wouldn’t solve the problem.

I would like to know how much this testing and rolling is costing the taxpayers. Caltrans’ actions are a smoke screen, and, believe me, the public knows it!
