The La Niña drought is back in California, and we shouldn’t be surprised
John Lindsey tells us the typical La Niña-imposed drought has returned. No news to us. So what are we doing about reinstating the water use restrictions of recent years? Will we again wait until all our local resources are dry? With a below-average rainfall likely and above-average temperatures predicted, we should be smart enough to see the future for ourselves.
We need to start talking about conservation now, please.
