Make billboards go away in SLO County

Thank you Sherri Danoff for trying to rid us of the billboard blight along Highway 101 in our county. And how embarrassing that Monterey, Santa Barbara and Ventura counties have removed theirs, while our section still has these eyesores.

Why are we the only county between them with this blight? Applying for scenic highway status is a good start, but not good enough if it lets existing billboards decay in place until they fall down decades later.

I hope our supervisors can do better than that. Monkey Wrench Gang, are you reading this?
