Why is it OK to kill turkeys so we can eat them?

I watched the fox in Arroro Grande playing by the creek and was as entranced as everyone else. Killing him was tragic, and having him suffer was heartbreaking. I also watch the wild turkeys around the creek in my neighborhood and am as entranced as I was with the fox. Killing turkeys and having them suffer so we can eat them is no less tragic and heartbreaking.

Fox, turkey, chicken, cow, pig — all lives matter.
