Veterans Day concert at PAC was an inspiring performance
On Saturday, Nov. 11, we attended the wonderful Veterans Day concert at the PAC. From our vantage point in the balcony, we watched the musicians apply their skills to make beautiful music.
Conductor Andrew Sewell is a very personable master, and his body language communicated his enthusiasm to his audience. Sewell chose inspiring music for us as well. From Gershwin to Copeland to Bernstein, it was a fantastic performance.
And the baritone soloist, Jubilant Sykes, was phenomenal as his rich voice captured the resonance of the spirituals. It was truly an inspiring concert in celebration of this Veterans Day.
