Please, Tribune, cover council news before and after it happens

As a follow-up to your Sept. 21, 2017, front-page story on the city of San Luis Obispo’s approval of the huge Avila Ranch development, here is a suggestion: How about a story about the City Council’s planned discussion of a project just prior to their meeting so citizens understand what will be voted on and when? I knew about the agenda item because I previously saw it noticed in the Legal Notices of the paper, but I doubt many readers saw that. Coverage of news before and after it happens is just good journalism.
