Don’t blame conservatives for plight of Pirate’s Cove

Pirate’s Cove between Avila Beach and Shell Beach has had crime, safety and cleanliness problems for years, including an incredibly bumpy parking area and no garbage cans.

It is unfair to lay the deplorable conditions of Pirate’s Cove at the feet of the conservatives on the Board of Supervisors, or Lynn Compton in particular. Lynn is doing her job for her district . The situation at Pirate’s Cove has been going on for decades according to your own columnist, Joe Tarica. Isn’t this Adam Hill’s district? And the Coastal Commission can take some blame, too.
