Opposing the Citizens United decision is not a ‘far-left’ position

Andrea Seastrand’s July 9 (“SLO County leans red. So why are Democrats taking a sharp left turn?”) column claims that opposition to the Citizens United Supreme Court decision is a far-left position.

If so, it’s a leftist position shared by close to 100 percent of Democrats and most independents, as well as many Republicans.
