Gail Collins should offer solutions, not just tear down President Trump
The Tribune published Gail Collins’ commentary on June 24 and perspective on July 2, two ramblings taking up about 77 column inches, and for what? Collins, a liberal/progressive, used the space to lampoon President Trump and his cabinet choices. She offers nothing constructive. A definition of liberal/progressive is to change society by government spending, regulating private businesses, redistribution of wealth, open borders, etc. There is no “saving grace” in her writings, just tear down and destroy. It’s a wonder she isn’t being sued for libel.
The Tribune would do better to publish editorials, commentaries and perspectives that have positive suggestions for helping Americans to cope with the real world. It really is time for all citizens to get behind our duly elected men and women and work together to make America great again.
