An open letter to Paul Ryan, speaker of the House of Representatives:
Mr. Ryan, I’ll be your surgical nurse during this emergency open heart surgical procedure. The surgeon that will do the procedure is new to this sort of thing. He just got his medical license by a fluke, as he has never attended medical school. However, he has every confidence in himself that he can do the job. Fortunately, the backup doctor has had some experience in the field. Others in the surgical theatre, such as the anesthesiologist, the scrub nurse and so on, were very successful in their own endeavors elsewhere. So what I’m telling you is that you and your family are going to have to cut some slack for the surgeon and his team; he’s sure that he’ll learn as time goes on. Any questions, Mr. Ryan?
