Exercise, nonprescription medication helps slow down bone loss

Dr. Robert Ashley provided a detailed list of drugs available for bone building (“Ask the Doctors”). However, he omitted a rather important factor in the prevention or slowing down of bone loss: exercise, weight bearing, weight lifting, balance exercise. There are also nonprescription medications which seem to help as well.
