‘Neighbors’ who burned down Nipomo farmworker housing have no heart
In the Tribune on Monday, June 12, there was an article on the front page with the headline, “Desired for labor, rejected by neighbors.”
I am shocked at the behavior of the people getting upset about seven homes going up to house the 100 workers from Mexico who break their backs to put food on our tables. Burning down homes and death threats. Where is your heart? These so-called neighbors ought to be ashamed of themselves. The workers deserve to live like human beings, not animals.
The France family deserve a thank you for their empathy and compassion.
