Our state senate has taken a dramatic stand for human rights by passing Senate Bill 562, the Healthy California Act. If the bill clears the state assembly, all Californians will be able to choose their own medical, dental, vision and hearing providers with no out-of-pocket costs or insurance premiums.

The program will be tax supported, and a University of Massachusetts Amherst economic analysis determined that the tax increase for individuals and businesses will be less than the insurance costs we pay now. Please let your voice be heard and urge your representatives to support this bill. It is our chance to lead the nation as we improve and save lives by bringing quality health care to all Californians.
