Cal Poly, it’s time to end the rodeo

When is Cal Poly going to join the enlightened age and realize there is no place in modern society for an event in which animals are terrified and abused for the entertainment and pleasure of the human species? Each animal deserves respect and needs to have a sense of dignity. It is time to move away from the Roman days of lions being abused in the Colosseum and get rid of the rodeo.
