Overpopulation and overcrowding creates the fear and hatred we are witnessing

The letters Joe Tarica quotes (“What kind of world are we creating?” Feb. 19) show the phenomena of hatred and fear that living beings display when faced with overcrowding. Increased population also means more building, more concrete, more water runoff and — guess what — more flooding.
