The nearly 10,000 women, men and children who marched through downtown San Luis Obispo on Jan. 21 were inspiring and encouraging. The message of that march was directed not only at our national leaders, but also to our local elected officials. I hope the county Board of Supervisors, especially the new majority, was paying attention. Those of us in the streets are paying attention, and we will hold supervisors accountable.
