Evangelicals voted for Trump, and they will pray for him, too

In response to Leonard Pitts’ article on Thanksgiving Day about talking with God (“Don’t just be thankful today,” Nov. 24): I know that The Tribune doesn’t like talking about God, but Mr. Pitts opened the door.

There is a reason why Christians and evangelicals came out in force and voted. No, God is not negative. God tells us to pray for our leader and our country. We cannot add to the division in our country! Please pray and have an attitude of gratitude!
