If Cubs fans can survive 107 years without win, U.S. can survive four

I have been a Cubs fan for over 50 years and finally lived to see them win the World Series. I once asked my brother whether the World Series was more important than the presidential election, and he answered that the World Series was more important because it happened every year. I endured for 50 years without a Cubs win.

The lesson here is that after the election, the people of the U.S. will endure no matter who our president is. That is what “we the people” truly are.
