On Friday, Nov. 11, one of the most-listened-to radio hosts in America, Renee Montagne of National Public Radio’s “Morning Edition,” signed off for the last time.

After 12 years of graveyard shifts on the morning edition, she is being reassigned as a special correspondent. Like all good reporters, Renee reported the stories and never wanted to be the story, but still her leaving “Morning Edition,” like hosts of more famous programs, will surely be missed by many “Morning Edition” regulars.

I hope she is happy in her new assignment.
