Presidential election was one for the NASCAR crowd

This presidential election was the NASCAR’s Chase version of political races.

It wasn’t necessarily about talent or ability, but more about side deals and who has more good ole boys in their back pockets. For the purists, it’s a mockery and painful to watch. But they were not the target audience. It was the TV American, especially rednecks, that it garnered.

And the results, love them or hate them, does make for good television.
