After election season, it’s time to remember what we learned in kindergarten
The week of Nov. 6 to 12 was Retired Teachers Week. It was a memorable and historic week in California and the United States.
Let me take the opportunity to quote from Robert Fulgum’s “All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten.”
“All I really need to know about how to live and what to do and how to be, I learned in kindergarten.” “Share everything, play fair, don’t hit people, clean up your own mess, don’t take things that aren’t yours, say you’re sorry when you hurt somebody, and when you go out in the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands, and stick together.”
We need to stay together as a community, and it is my hope that some of the quotes by Fulgum will resonate with everyone — especially our politicians.
