Throwing out ACA could be a disaster
I, for one, could have and did predict the riots after Trump’s win Tuesday. The best way to do this is not to riot or protest in the streets, but to file multiple petitions, write letters and make phone calls to all your representatives, local and federal, to block repealing the Affordable Care Act and oppose cuts to Social Security and Planned Parenthood.
Tell them we want legislators to pass laws to cut out the middleman and get the drug companies to sell directly to pharmacies and hospitals. It would be disastrous to just throw out the Affordable Care Act without having a real plan to replace it. It would be like throwing garbage into a fan and hoping it blows away and doesn’t get in your face.
Do not be mistaken and think this whole Trump solution is best for the country. There are ramifications for what he plans to do and how it will be done. Many people will suffer greatly if we the people don’t act soon.
