Suck it up, liberals, and forget about Calexit

Just when I thought I had seen it all, something always pops up to amaze and amuse me. It’s a call by the vast left-wingers of California to secede from the U.S. Why? Because Donald Trump was elected president.

I suppose losing both chambers of Congress poured a little extra salt on the open wounds, and on top of that, just like the Brits, they made up a word for it: “Calexit.”

Very clever, but also very stupid. All of this comes from a group called “Yes California” that wants to put a referendum on the ballot calling for the Golden State to leave the union. Then what? Barbra Streisand could be president and Cher vice president? Then she wouldn’t have to leave the planet! I could go on, but I’m already getting a little queasy.

Did it ever occur to you lefties that the reason for all of this is that Barack Obama, along with his cronies, screwed things up so badly that people finally had enough and are ready for change?

So listen up, libs, especially college students who can’t remember the last time the Clintons were in the White House: If you could, you might change your tune. So come on, left-wingers. There’s a new sheriff in town. Deal with it!
