Deer don’t have much road sense, so drive slowly in SLO County

As we approach the start of another busy season in our village, maybe we could remind our visitors — and locals, too — about the need to drive slowly and carefully along our roads and byways. There is an abundance of young deer around, and sadly they don’t have much road sense. I know there are road signs posted in some areas to warn about the presence of deer, but it would not hurt to have a little article, and maybe a cute Bambi picture, to remind us that these trusting and too-tame animals live among us.
