A trio of lessons learned about politicians from the big city
Three things I learned about politicians while growing up in New York City:
1. If they say, “trust me” every other sentence, don’t.
2. If they say, “believe me” every other sentence, don’t.
3. If you get a chance to shake their hand, count your fingers as you are running away.
