Double standards of political correctness need to be eliminated
So Mr. Pitts, why after generations of successful civil rights and integration efforts in these United States do you think it is still necessary to give lessons on how to speak to black people?
Your answer seems to be that it is because without the lessons, speech to blacks is always somehow offensive. If so, it’s probably necessary then to have lessons teaching blacks how to speak inoffensively to others and more to the point, how to speak inoffensively to each other.
Let’s eliminate the double standards of political correctness and focus on what’s best for all citizens. Your “public service” would be much more meaningful if it served the common good instead of promulgating the idea that blacks alone suffer from offensive speech.
