Flood advisory for the Central Coast issued by the National Weather Service
Update, 11:13 a.m.:
The flood advisory for San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties has been extended to 1:30 p.m.
Update, 10:15 a.m.:
The flood advisory has been extended to include the southwestern regions of Santa Barbara County until 1:15 p.m. The areas include Santa Barbara, Montecito, Santa Ynez, Carpinteria and Goleta.

The National Weather Service issued a flood advisory for California’s Central Coast on Sunday morning.
The advisory, first issued at 8:47 a.m. in a tweet, will last until 11:30 a.m. as moderate rain continues throughout San Luis Obispo County and northwestern Santa Barbara County.
Rain levels between half an inch an hour and three quarters of an inch are expected in localized areas, the agency said.
The National Weather Service warned residents to expect flooding in roadways and low-lying areas.
