The advisory was for Santa Barbara County Southwestern Coast and Santa Ynez Mountains Western Range.
"Local gusts to 45 mph may continue for the next few hours, however, winds have largely subsided below advisory levels for the morning. Another round of advisory level winds will affect the area this evening and overnight," says the NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA.
The advisory is in effect until 8 a.m.
